How much truth is there in Bageshwar Dham Sarkar?

With almost ten million followers, Bageshwar Dham Sarkar commands the highest respect from those who witness such extraordinary feats. Shri Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, heading the Bageshwar Dham, is becoming a household name. In each place, he takes his Divya Darbar (court), he will indeed have several hundred thousand (lakhs) of people waiting to listen to him. Watch the video below to see the kind of crowd he attracts.

What exactly does he do?

His functioning looks straightforward. He normally conducts Divya Darshan (divine appearance) and pravachan (speech), especially on Ramayana. Sometimes, there will also be prashnottar (question and answer session). However, every Tuesday and Saturday he conducts Divya Darbar (divine court). It is during the Divya Darbar that he picks up someone in the crowd of lakhs of people, writes something about them, and asks them to ask questions or explain a set of problems. Whatever they say will match exactly with what he has already written down. In addition to identifying the problem, he also offers solutions to their problems.

Though this personal interaction is available to only a few, each person who attends the Divya Darbar has a chance to gain the blessings of the deity Hanuman. This happens at the end of the Darbar by chanting specific mantras.

Whatever he does, are they miracles, or can they be explained?

Shri Dhirendra Krishna Shastri will get into the minds of people and know what they are ailing from. He knows your foes and friends, their names, etc. He knows about your diseases and he can cure them.

Shri Dhirendra Krishna Shastri can solve medical, family, social, marital, economic, cultural, psychological, and spiritual problems within a few minutes. He also helps those possessed by ghosts and spirits to overcome the influence. He can catch people if they are telling lies. If they are going in the wrong way, he admonishes them and tells them to correct themselves.

Either people accept him as he is or reject him saying he is doing a publicity stunt.

Actually, only a handful of scientists can understand the phenomena. Many of my former students and colleagues have asked me to interpret the same as this is in the area of my expertise. Hence this set of articles.
